Hi-Point accepting entries for 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands

BELLEFONTAINE- The 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands is set to kick off Friday, March 23, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in an effort to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

However, before the lights are dimmed and the bass is turned up, Hi-Point is calling students and their bands from Ohio Hi-Point’s District to submit a band entry form by March 1, 2012. Entry forms can be found at Ohiohipoint.com and requires a complete set list with lyrics as well as a $25 entry fee. The entry fee will be waived if band members agree to sell 15 tickets to the Battle of the Bands.

At least one of the band members must be from Ohio Hi-Point or one of Hi-Point’s 14 partner districts (Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside, Waynesfield-Goshen, Urbana, Graham, Triad, Mechanicsburg, West-Liberty Salem, Kenton, Ridgemont, Upper Scioto Valley, Marysville).
