COLUMBUS – State Senator Chris Widener (R-Springfield) announced that Senate Concurrent Resolution 19 passed the Ohio Senate today by a vote of 32-0. The resolution urges the Federal Aviation Administration to choose Ohio as a test site for the integration of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System.
Alice Robinson-Bond, Republican candidate for Champaign County Prosecutor, announced today that Betty Montgomery has joined Jim Petro in endorsing Robinson-Bond's campaign for Champaign County Prosecutor. Robinson-Bond worked with Attorney General Montgomery from 1996 - 2003 and with Attorney General Petro from 2004 - 2007.

“Empty Bowls of Champaign County,” an event to raise awareness about the growing problem of hunger in Champaign County, will be held January 26, 2012 from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Sara Landess Room. The event, a fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign and Logan Counties, offers patrons a beautifully hand-crafted bowl and a simple meal of soup and bread for $15 per person.
