1 Timothy 6: 11,12,13,14 But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness of heart.
Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession of faith before many witnessed.
In The presence of God, Who preserves alive all living things, and of before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I [solemnly] charge you to keep all His precepts unsullied and flawless, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We must fight the good fight of faith. This is what the word tells us. Keeping our thoughts pure and in the will of God will be a lifetime battle. Satan likes to war at the realm of our thoughts, Joyce Meyers wrote a book called the Battlefield of the Mine and what a wonderful book it is. In this book she says, if Satan can control our thoughts then he controls us and our destinies. What a true statement this is, our biggest fight is in our thoughts. If Satan can get you to think over and over and over again you are worthless, then you will begin to believe this about yourself.
When these thoughts start you have to realize you are in a fight with the enemy. This is when you cannot just sit back and take it. You must stand up and fight back with the word of God and not take what the enemy has planed for you but show him that the author and the finisher of our faith.
Stand up and keep your joy and peace and fight the good fight of faith.
