Proverbs 3: 224-26 Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.

I love what it say in this verse, we can lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams.
You and I don’t have to live our lives in fear. We do not have to be afraid of disaster or destruction because God is our security.

With all the things that are going on in the world, I can see how the devil can play mine tricks and keep us in fear and frozen so we can not enjoy the life our God has given us.

For many years of my life I have lived in fear. It started when I was young and lost my mother at the age five years old. Every since then I was sure I was going to die at her age of twenty five. As time went on I lived in fear of something that would take me out at a young age. I lived in fear of the spirit of death. Scared of someone I love or I would always die. It has been hard to enjoy part of my life and I have been robbed of my joy because of this spirit. Thank God, I have been set free!

This is why I love this word in the book of Proverbs, Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.

It is time to enjoy the life you have been given, and stop letting fear control your life. It is a wonderful life God has given you and He wants you to embrace every second of it because it is a gift, and if you are a child of God you have nothing to fear. Heaven is you permanent home and you can lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams.
